GNP SCADA is a web based SCADA platform. It is the result of a product based in many years of expertise and research in the development of SCADA solutions. It is designed for energy companies willing to monitor a complete electric network, and to check its status on a web interface. It can be accessed from any device with Internet access.
The main screen is divided in different sections. The main area contains the supervised meters, the remote access, the monitoring alarm and a map to check meter states.
It contains meter and communication media management, which provides a great flexibility at the moment of making any kind of modification or addition. It also contains multiple alarm management, which enables to establish different alarm levels for different monitoring points. i.e. each monitoring point may have a different alarm. Alarms can be notified by a visual interface or by EMAIL.
Users must log in and authenticate each time they use the system, which increases security. Configuration also allows discriminating which alarm is used by each user. The system is designed to work uninterruptedly and be able, at the same time to observe in a central console the working status of the monitored network.
Besides the instant values that can be viewed by a simple mouse click, reports and consultations with the historic values stored can also be made.
The system is installed in a dedicated server located in a controlled and supervised DATACENTER. Moreover, there is fail-over data access redundancy, UPS, monitoring temperature, etc.
This solution does not require initial investment in infrastructure because it is web based. It works in the cloud.
This system's design makes it function with different meters- multiprotocol - as well as with different communication media, such as direct, radio links and cell-phone communication technologies. Besides the remote devices' monitoring, the system can monitor intermediate communication points, modules status and capacity of the connected equipment.

A new communications product which enables to build radio links of up to 60 km through RF has been launched.
This new technology enables to build the link in frequency bands of 900Mhz or 2.4 Ghz. This solution is based on MESH technologies, enabling all the nodes to inter -communicate, increasing the reliability - redundancy - of all the system.
Furthermore, each element of the network can be a transmitter, receiver or repeater, i.e. distances even greater than 60 km may be achieved using those elements as repeaters.
The devices configuration and tuning is very simple. They can be used as presented, or with a minimum additional parametrization.
They have an internal fan- activating thermostat -which works through magnetic levitation- to keep a low temperature within the cabinet in extreme climates.
The link's installation is very simple. It has its own configuration software and RS-232 and RS-485 outputs. The RS-485 can be optionally isolated up to 2.5 kV.
The link has a double mount system with size-changing antennas according to the required distance. Only four screws, 12V voltage supply and the data cable are needed for its anchoring.
