Simple Media Converter

(GN-CM-S)

Media converter with two interchangeable expansion ports, compatible with PUZZLE line, with external power supply.

The simple media converter- which is integral part of the PUZZLE line- is a device with multiple functions as follows:


  • RS-232 to RS-485 Converter (with or without isolation),
  • Repeater/port protection RS- 485 (with or without isolation),
  • ETHERNET to RS-232/RS-485 converter (with or without isolation),
  • Radio link with RS-232/RS-485/ETHERNET.

    • The base module does not include any port installed.

    The base converter has two expansion ports that, according to the modules to be installed perform different functions and configurations.

    The converter is designed to be mounted on a DIN rail, and has input connection in a 9Vdc to 36Vdc range.

    PUZZLE philosophy is a line of communication products and RTU that allow interchanging and replacing all of its parts in a simple, practical and economical way, adding functionality and dynamics in a puzzle like way.

    Products have their main internal modules- that can be easily replaced- and multiple interchangeable communications ports.
