Radio links for tele-measurements and tele-control applications in 900 Mhz or 2.4 Ghz bands of easy installation and configuration, with up to 60 km direct coverage, and greater distances with repeaters.
Radio links are a low cost alternative solution in order to communicate remote devices in a very reliable way. This product has revolutionized and simplified the way of configuring and installing radio communications.
The technology used is called MESH, where each nod is a transmitter, receptor and repeater. i.e. all the network's nods can fulfill any of the functions.
To get two points connected only the view line is necessary and- in some cases- some elevated place for its installation. If a repeater is needed, only a nod must be added, which will function as intermediary point between two ends of a link.
Links have two presentations, according to their work frequency: 900 Mhz (FHSS) or 2.4 Ghz (DSSS). According to the configurations, their rank can reach up to 60 km between two points or to a greater distance with repeaters (intermediary nods).
Installation is very simple given the fact that the presentation includes the cabinet with the electronics inside, and two brackets with four screws/nuts for anchoring. Each cabinet includes a YAGUI type antenna which can be of 3, 6 or 9 elements according to the distance and topology intended to cover.
Data outputs are RS-232 or RS-485 (with up to 2.5 kV isolation). Maximum transmission speed is of 200 Kbps, which may vary according to the link configuration.
This solution includes links configuration software, where safe data receipt and delivery can be selected (AES encryption).
Inside the device's main cabinet, there is a thermostat which activates a fan in order to keep a constant temperature- critical element- in high temperatures regions. The fan has a magnetic levitation technology, which significantly increases its useful life to up to 10,000 working hours.
This product has a modular electronic- based design therefore, if any of its components fails, can be replaced with no need of substituting the whole device.
