Client: Environmental Control Company, Winnipeg, Canada.
Objectives: The object of this system was the development of a SCADA solution capable of remotely control one or several monitored environment chambers. The variables to control are: temperature, humidity, light intensity, CO2 and other gases. The system had to solve three particular challenges:
- Integration with the existing control system in the working equipments.
- Development of a protocol for the exchange between the local control system of the camera and the SCADA system using the SNMP protocol.
- Creation of a software application capable of controlling multiple variables, handling of functioning programs of the camera (Schedule) and date and time synchronization.
