Objectives: The object of this system was the development of a SCADA solution as a proposal to perform simulations of medical staff needs in emergency rooms in hospitals in Canada (Winnipeg Regional Health Authority) as part of a joint research with the University of Manitoba (Canada) to understand the functioning and to propose improvements about the way theses systems should be built. The formal name for this solution is RTLS (Real Time Location System).

- To detect if somebody or something is leaving an area unsupervised.
- To detect if the person or object monitored is in movement.
- The remote sensor should have an alarm system to be able to call in case of urgency or need.
